Banquette Trunk
To fill an inset spot of an apartment, without having the piece be a permanent fixture. Solid maple trunk held together with assembly screws, with enough space for wood movement from all the panels. Crisp edges, and clean lines make this piece easy to look at and follow with the eye. To add some contrast with the simplicity the handle of the top was coved out giving a subtle break from all the straight lines.
