Ipe Outdoor Table & Benches
A client in Toronto was looking to have an outdoor table & a pair of benches made to match their existing Ipe (Brazilian walnut) deck. They were looking for a simple slab-style design and it was up to us to engineer an effective joinery solution as this wood is too dense and oily to glue together. What emerged was a simple design that could be screwed together (with stainless screws) and will still allow rain to not pool on the boards.
